Jara Hamee was one of the first Hork-Bajir freed from Yeerk control, the husband of Ket Halpak and the father of Toby Hamee.

Jara Hamee is married to Ket Halpak and the father of Toby Hamee and another son. Jara was born into captivity. Jara Hamee is the only known child of Seerow Hamee, and is also the grandson of Dak Hamee and Aldrea-Iskillion-Falan.[1]

Though Toby and Dak were both seers, Jara is not.[1]

Jara Hamee and Ket Halpak were the first two Hork-Bajir to escape Yeerk capivity and they founded the free Hork-Bajir valley.[2] Jara died in the final battle against the Yeerks.[3]
